Strawberry season will be going until the end of June but be sure to ask about our ever bearing strawberries later in the summer. Blueberries are coming SOON! The store is filling up with fresh local Organic produce at farm direct prices. The Organic Strawberry U-Pick season is going strong and it’s been an awesome one so far! We will have the jump house for FREE this weekend to celebrate Father’s Day! Bring the kids and enjoy the forecasted sunny (almost 80 degree weather), pick some berries, grab some Organic produce from the store, and have your lunch and berries at our picnic tables.

Tickets are going on sale EXCLUSIVELY at the farm next week on June 22nd for our Summer Berry/Music Harvest Festivals!  Tickets will also be available for purchase online beginning July 1st (Will-Call only)! Tickets may sell out so be sure not to miss our First Annual Blueberry Blues & Rock Harvest Festival July 28-29, and Blackberry Bluegrass & Country Harvest Festival September 1-2!

The festivals will feature two days of locally grown music, delicious food featuring some of the best locally grown produce, local brewed Organic and Gluten-Free micro brew beers, and Oregon wine. Bring a blanket, and spend the weekend on the lawn listening to music, and enjoying the clean farm fresh air.

U-Pick strawberries are very sweet this year and you can taste the Organic difference! The store and U-Pick is open everyday between 9am and 6pm!

• We have three varieties of Strawberries for U-Pick this year:  Hoods, Totems, and Seascapes. We also have already-picked strawberries in the store! There are two different varieties of freshly picked Asparagus now available along with many other yummy veggies.

• Who loves Oregon Hazelnuts and Walnuts? We have them both and over 5 different flavors of Hazelnuts!  Also honey is in, Blackberry, Raspberry and Clover in squeeze bears and over 7 flavors of honey sticks to grab and snack on.

• Martha Stewart Living named us one of “The Top Strawberry Farms and Festivals” and they told us that we were the ONLY Certified Organic U-Pick farm in the nation that they could find!

*September 1-2:  The First Annual Blackberry Bluegrass & Country Harvest Festival

A Two-day Blackberry Harvest Festival celebrating, not just the peak of our Blackberry Season, but everything we grow on our farm and benefiting The Struble Foundation ( Music for The Heart) to fund Heart Research!  The festival will highlight everything to do with blackberries with the help of local Bluegrass & Country bands, local breweries, wineries, and local Artisan chefs featuring everything our farming community has to offer.

*September –October: 

The countdown starts for the end of the farming season,  the Fall Harvest. The peak of our Farm Harvest begins, so if you like to can & preserve, this is the time to buy in bulk, and stock up for the winter.

Look for 10 varieties of Tomatoes including Heirlooms, Garlic (5 varieties), Onions, Rhubarb, Cabbage, Corn (3 varieties), Asparagus, Green Beans, Apples, Pears, Peaches, Strawberries, Blackberries, Blueberries, Melons, Summer & Winter Squash (30 varieties), Pumpkins large and small (20 varieties), and MUCH MORE!

We are excited to let our customers know that Bella Organic is working on having 100% of our electricity for our Farm Store generated by solar energy. We have been told that we may be the first farm and one of the very few businesses in the Portland Metro area to transition to 100% solar, green energy.

It is our commitment to our planet, our kids, and the new generation to do our part in making our planet a better place for everyone.
